Our Food Philosophy…..

Family Favourites, Cooked with Love

At The Bush, we believe good food brings people together — and our menu is full of classic family favourites that everyone will enjoy. From hearty homemade pies and golden fish & chips to kid-approved meals, there’s something to satisfy every appetite.

Our dishes are made using fresh, locally sourced ingredients wherever possible, and always cooked with care. We haven’t forgotten the little ones either — our children's menu is packed with tasty, wholesome options that are sure to please even the pickiest eaters.

Whether it’s a midweek treat or a weekend gathering around the table, our food is all about flavour, comfort, and quality time spent together.

Seasonal Specials, Fresh, Local & Full of Flavour

We love celebrating the best of each season with a rotating selection of specials that highlight fresh, local ingredients. From springtime asparagus and lamb to comforting autumn stews and festive winter favourites, our seasonal menu changes regularly to bring you delicious new dishes all year round.

We work closely with local suppliers to source produce at its peak – so you can enjoy food that’s full of flavour and rooted in the rhythm of the countryside. Keep an eye on our blackboard or ask our team about today’s specials – there’s always something new to discover!

Whether it's a summer garden salad, a cracking pie in winter, or a seasonal twist on a classic, our specials are a perfect excuse to try something a little different.

A Banging Roast - just like at home (only better)

There’s nothing quite like a proper Sunday roast – and at The Bush, it’s a tradition we take seriously. Served every Sunday from midday, our roast lunch is a hearty, comforting meal made with care and packed with flavour.

Choose from tender cuts of locally sourced meats such as roast beef with Yorkshire pudding or slow-roasted pork with crisp crackling – all served with golden roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, rich homemade gravy, and all the classic trimmings.
